An investor purchases financial products of all kinds, including securities, properties and precious metals, for the purpose of increasing wealth over the long term. We differentiate between two forms of real estate investment: direct investment, in which case the investor is listed as the owner in the land register, and indirect investment, whereby the investor has shares in a (limited) company or assets such as a real estate fund.
