The Paribus Trust companies – Paribus Treuhand Dienstleistung GmbH and Paribus Trust GmbH – are there for you: on the phone, via e-mail or by post. We have compiled an overview of our most important services for you below.
We look after your fund entry, monitor the fund’s performance for you, make disbursements on time and provide you with comprehensive information about your fund. For example, you will receive annual business reports and immediate investor information in the event of special occurrences in the current financial year. Since you as an investor can have a say in the decisions of your fund company, we hold shareholders’ meetings with ordinary as well as extraordinary resolutions. And of course, we are also your contact if you wish to transfer company shares.
We are also in regular contact with fund management, advisory boards and assetmanagers of the fund companies. We are well connected and are aware of the status of your fund company at all times. Open and transparent communication is important to us – with all parties involved and especially with you as an investor.

In the course of your investment, the fund management will determine the disbursements – depending on the fund company, sometimes in consultation with advisory boards – on the basis of the economic performance and the available liquidity. We will inform you on time about the amount and time of disbursement. And we always transfer the money punctually to a bank account specified by you.
As soon as you have decided to invest in a Paribus fund and we have received your signed declaration of accession, we are your contact partner who will manage your fund for you on a fiduciary basis. The basis for this are the company and trust agreements, which are components of the sales prospectuses.
The fund management and the Paribus Trust companies inform all shareholders at regular intervals about relevant matters concerning the fund companies. You will receive information on the economic development of the fund company, the fund’s properties, markets, assetmanagement, the liquidity and earnings statement, disbursements and tax issues – always as a retrospective, ongoing report and outlook. This takes the form of an annually published fund business report and shareholder information during the year, which is sent to you by post or, on request, by e-mail.

The articles of association of your fund company stipulate annual shareholders’ meetings, which are usually held by written procedure.
The ordinary resolution provides, among other things, for an annual approval of the annual financial statements as well as a discharge of the contractual partners – for example, the fund management.
Extraordinary resolutions can be, for example:
- Amendments to the articles of association
- Sale of fixed assets
We send the agenda items for the resolution to the investors in the form of a written invitation. The resolution includes a voting recommendation by the Trust as well as the Fund’s management.
Depending on the form of the memorandum and articles of association, other resolution points may be added. Overall, the investors can co-decide on issues that are of significant importance to the company. You should exercise your voting rights because, as a co-entrepreneur, you can influence developments in your fund company.Do you have a current resolution and are unsure what to vote on?

Paribus Trust GmbH offers its customers the possibility to submit complaints to the company by post, by telephone or by e-mail.
In all complaints, the aim of Paribus Trust GmbH is to satisfy the customer. We hope, of course, that you have no reason to complain. However, should this ever happen, please provide us with your contact details, your investor number (if available), the fund concerned and the reason for your complaint.
For all complaints received, regardless of how your complaint reaches us (by telephone or in writing), the complainant will immediately receive confirmation of receipt of the complaint and the further final processing of the complaint will be arranged. You will first receive a confirmation of receipt of your submitted complaint. We will usually process your complaint within two to three working days. If the complaint cannot be finally processed within the specified period, we will inform you immediately about the further procedure.

The closed-end investment does not always remain with the original subscriber for the entire term of the fund company, since it can be inherited, donated or sold.
The trade register is kept at the district court of each city and records all partnerships and corporations that are economically active. As the fund or investment companies are usually limited partnerships (Kommanditgesellschaft GmbH & Co. KG), they are registered with the local court at the company’s head office.
We rely on your current contact and bank details to send you information regularly and on time or, for example, to arrange disbursements.
If your data change in the course of participation, please let us know.
In the annual fund business reports, you will find a detailed chapter that addresses the points of income tax, inheritance tax and gift tax that need to be considered in the context of your investment.
In addition, we will be happy to help you answer your tax questions – for example on the different treatment of assetmanagement or commercially assessed investment companies.

At regular intervals in the future, we will offer you personal consultation times in the form of a video chat.
We will announce the topics and dates here shortly. To dial into the video chat, you will then only need a PC with an internet connection and a webcam, if you would like to transmit your image to us as part of the chat.
Closed-end funds are designed as a long-term investment. Nevertheless, the tradability of the investments is very important for many investors.
