Buildings for non-manufacturing business and for managing manufacturing business, including office and administration buildings, lodging properties, senior living facilities, commercial properties, leisure properties and industrial and technology parks. Blocks of flats with commercial use exceeding 50% are evaluated as commercial properties. If the encumbrances on commercial properties serve as collateral, the value of the mortgaged commercial property must be reviewed at regular intervals. Pursuant to Section 20a VI of the German Banking Act (KWG), the period of time may not exceed one year.
